The vehicle is available in four trim levels, which are Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. All four trim levels are packed with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. While front-wheel drive is standard across the board, buyers can also opt for an all-wheel drive for the Sport, Latitude and Limited trim levels. Additionally, the Trailhawk comes with AWD.

Sport trim level

Trailhawk trim level Finally, the Trailhawk trim level, which is meant for off-roading, packs a ton of features. It has a lower price than the Limited, but its functions and features vary greatly. It is only available in AWD with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with off-road oriented tires with 17-inch wheels, red tow hooks, a raised suspension, underbody skid plates, etc. It also has its own Selec-Terrain system so that it can perform better on rocky terrains and climb up steep ascents with ease. Lastly, the Trailhawk has a matte-black hood accent, giving it a distinguished look from the rest of the Compass trim levels.
